Peaches
Peaches Come in Three Stages

The Budding Stage
This is the earliest stage of peaches, where they bloom for about a week in mid to late April. It’s certainly beautiful when the whole orchard is bloomed out in white and pink blossoms!

The “Thinning” Stage
This is the second stage of peaches, where they are still green, but beginning to grow. Peaches grow in clumps. Therefore, in order to get bigger peaches, we go through each tree and “thin out” about half the peaches. We usually begin doing this in the middle of May.

The Picking Stage
This is the stage when the peach has the perfect amount of softness and sweetness to it. Any peach picker will tell you that a peach has a “glow” to it when it is perfectly ripe. Our peaches usually reach this stage in mid-late June, and will go as late as the end of September. Each peach is selected with care to have the utmost quality flavor. We have over 25 varieties of peaches and each one is delicious! Please stop by and get some of our family-raised, tree-ripened peaches! Guaranteed to melt in your mouth 🙂
